These terms and conditions apply between Ekens Strand and the person who books or pays for a campsite pitch, either on their own behalf or through a representative. In these terms and conditions, the person making the booking/payment is referred to as the “Customer”, and the provider as “Ekens Strand”, “We” or “Ekens Strand”. The booking and payment only cover the rental of a campsite pitch at Ekens Strand.
Customers and guests at Ekens Strand are required to follow the campsite’s general rules. The complete campsite rules are available at www.ekensstrand.se. If these rules are not followed, staff have the right to remove the guest from the area.
To book and pay for a campsite pitch, the customer must be at least 18 years old. Payment requires a bank card or Swish, as well as BankID or equivalent identification to complete the purchase. Payment is made directly at the time of booking.
The price includes rental of the campsite pitch and, if selected, connection to electricity (10 amps), including consumption. All campsite pitches are booked from 12:00 to 12:00 the following day.
The size of the pitches varies, and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the chosen pitch is large enough for their vehicle or camping unit. The stated pitch dimensions include a safety distance of up to four metres from the neighbouring pitch.
Once the booking confirmation has been received, the customer must check that all details are correct. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the booking confirmation is accurate. The confirmation is sent by email and SMS.
If any information is incorrect, Ekens Strand must be contacted within seven days of receipt, but no later than 24 hours before arrival. All prices are stated in SEK and include VAT.
Cancellation can only be made online through the booking system.
The customer is responsible for having the necessary protection, such as liability insurance, vehicle insurance, accident insurance and travel insurance. Ekens Strand is not responsible for damage or loss caused by third parties, or for items left behind.
The customer undertakes to take care of both the rented pitch and the campsite facilities, and to follow all rules, instructions and regulations. The customer is also responsible for ensuring that fellow travellers and visitors do the same.
Ekens Strand is not responsible for damage to or loss of guests’ property. Damage to the environment, buildings, fixtures or guests’ property may result in liability for compensation.
We expect all guests to respect the campsite rules. The campsite host has the authority to take action in the event of rule violations.

By using the website, you accept the data policy of Ekens Strand and Hamnsystem Sverige AB. Ekens Strand reserves the right, on special occasions, to send information and marketing by email or SMS.
This agreement applies between the customer and Ekens Strand. The agreement is terminated with immediate effect if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled, or if the customer or anyone in their party behaves disruptively or causes damage. In the event of a breach of contract, the customer and their entire party must immediately leave the campsite. In the event of damage or disruptive behaviour, Ekens Strand may claim compensation.
In the event of a complaint, please contact us directly. Please note that the possibility of correcting the issue may be reduced if you delay making a complaint. If we are unable to resolve the dispute together, you may refer the matter to ARN (the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes).
In situations such as war, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics or other events considered force majeure, Ekens Strand has the right to terminate the agreement. The customer and guests shall then be informed as soon as possible. In such cases, Ekens Strand will refund the amount paid, except for any use of the pitch.
